DG-DRM36E-R - Ultra-Wide 36" 16:3 Railway LCD DRM/PIS Display

OVERVIEW:

DG-DRM36E-R is an intelligent IP-connected ultra-wide 36" 16:3 aspect ratio railway LCD DRM display. The device is certified to EN50155 and EN50121 standards for onboard railway installations. A sunlight readable high contrast HD-resolution LCD display delivers an outstanding visual experience. This display is designed specifically for PIS or Dynamic Route Map applications for train, metro and tram installations. The 6-core 64-bit ARM LINUX Application Processor is capable of delivering rich media content combining video, animations, graphics and operational information.

The DG-DRM36E-R operates fully autonomously and can receive MVB-based control information from the Duragon MVB gateway over 10/100Mbit Ethernet. The device includes an internal Switch for creating a Daisy-Chain Ethernet. Bypass signal relays automatically heal the daisy chain in case of device failure. Secondary communication interfaces include RS-485 and an optional 3G/LTE modem. The optional internal 802.11 WiFi can be ued for service, maintenence and upgrading fucntions. An inbuilt 1500VDC isolated 14 to 160VDC input range railway class power supply can connect directly to the feeder power source of the train.

The DG-DRM36E-R is protected against excessive temperature conditions with CPU speed throttling and temperature dependent backlight brightness control. System operating and configuration parameters are stored in a non volatile EEPROM. Powerful QT-based GUI development tools accelerate the creation and maintenence of the system software.
